The developer behind Vertex Algorithms
I am Rohit Bhapkar. Since 2018 I have been turning traders’ rules into Expert Advisors, Python bots and TradingView scripts, from Pune, India, for clients around the world.
Why one developer, and not an agency
Most traders who reach me have been burned once already: an EA delivered as a compiled file they cannot change, a freelancer who disappeared after the first payment, or a “team” where nobody remembered the strategy two weeks later.
Vertex Algorithms is built the other way round. The person you brief is the person who writes the code, tests it, and answers when something breaks on a Friday night. You get the source code, the reports, and a direct line on WhatsApp.
How I work
- Your rules, written down first. Most problems in trading software start as ambiguity in the brief. I resolve it before coding.
- Tested like it will be traded. Real tick data, realistic costs, and settings checked on data they were not tuned on.
- Honest about results. If a strategy does not survive testing, I tell you, even when it costs me the rest of the project.
- Confidential by default. A mutual NDA before you share anything, and your strategy never becomes someone else’s product.
What I will not do
I do not sell signals, manage money, promise returns, or build tools designed to get around a prop firm’s rules. I build software that does exactly what your rules say, and I tell you what the history says about those rules.
Working across time zones
I work on India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), which overlaps with the full working day in the Gulf, most of the working day in the UK and Europe, and early mornings or evenings in North America. Calls are scheduled at a time that suits you.
Tools and platforms
MQL4 and MQL5 on MetaTrader 4 and 5, Pine Script on TradingView, Python with broker and exchange APIs, and cTrader. Testing with the MT5 Strategy Tester, tick data, and Python research tools.
Tell me the strategy. I’ll tell you what it takes.
Fifteen minutes, no pitch. Mutual NDA before you describe anything you care about. You get an honest view of feasibility, timeline and price, even if the answer is “don’t build this”.
