Using this website

The content of this website is provided for general information. It may be changed at any time without notice. You may not copy substantial parts of it for commercial use without permission. Calculators and examples are provided as they are, for planning only, and may contain errors. See the risk disclaimer.

How projects work

Each project is governed by the written quote or agreement for that project, which takes precedence over this summary.

• Scope and price: fixed in writing before work starts. Changes to the scope are quoted separately.
• Payment: 50% to start, 50% on delivery, unless the quote says otherwise.
• Revisions: 2 revision rounds within the agreed scope are included.
• Support: bugs reported within 30 days of delivery are fixed free of charge.
• Ownership: once the project is paid in full, you own the delivered source code and may use, modify and distribute it. General-purpose helper code I reuse across projects may remain mine, with a permanent licence for you to use it.
• Confidentiality: a mutual NDA protects your strategy and my methods.
• No performance guarantee: I guarantee that the software does what the agreed specification describes. I do not guarantee trading results.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project, and I am not liable for trading losses, lost profits or losses caused by brokers, platforms, data providers or prop firms.
